Introduction for Medical Professionals: My Fieldwork, Research, and Experience with Cryptic Pregnancy and Extended Gestation

The on-the-ground and on the internet existence of Cryptic Pregnancy and Extended Gestation (or CP/EG) has been fraught; it has been a battleground of sometimes insane proportions- but I have kept on. I'm not going to dance around the bush about why I ceased for a while to post on the subject and take clients:

Trauma

Medical Abuse

Societal selfishness.

These three reasons range from the personal to the societal, to the corporative. However I have come to believe as the only Midwife in North America with any depth of experience with CP/EG, that for some women, their CP/EG situations have become life threatening for them and their babies. So, I am embarking again on this journey to now educate women, mothers and anyone who will listen, about the CP/EG phenomenon. Here is an introduction for everyone, including and particularly medical professionals.
