Medical Birth is based on a systemic fear in Modern Western Culture of Childbirth; the idea that having a baby in a hospital in the West is safer, is just simply inaccurate. For starters, America has a rising Maternal Mortality rate- the highest among developed Nations, and this is predominantly because of medical practice. The idea that a home birth is dangerous, and is proliferated sensationally as such, is simply because home birth is a minority voice. It is up against the Medical Field and Big Pharma. The lies that home birth or Traditional Midwives are dangerous, are proliferated, and held in place for the same reasons. It's time we face our fear, and conditioning, and actually tap into the Truth- in order to gain actual knowledge, instead of vague theories based on fear.

Western/Modern Women in the West, have successfully put "Natural Birth" in an exploitive space. Some who claim to have the most "radical" of natural birth notions, use Social Media to exploit the Sacred Space of Childbirth. It is as though Modern/ Western Females are so contaminated by decades of Modern Female Ideas of confusion about "empowerment" vs. "having power," they can no longer separate it; indeed I think perhaps many do not wish to separate it. Having control should be (they think) the same as Being an Empowered Woman.

Women in the "Natural Birth" movements in America and in the Developed West, are trying to work inside a broken medical system; they talk about "evidence based birth" when the "evidence" is often deeply contaminated by the medical system. Western Women often want their cake and eat it too: They want to proliferate so-called "natural practices" while keeping their systemized fear and conditioning intact. They also build taboos around exposing women and their fear- so that the true nature of the problems with Modern Western Women, never actually resolve. "Natural" labels and fantasies have become so powerful, they successfully conceal the actual, timeless birth knowledge.
